The 1960s A Groovy Time
While just a kid I remember the 1960s it was mostly the latter part of the decade that I remember. First half I was a little baby, toddler ect. However, I remember my sisters and their cute dresses and the music ah the music “The Rolling Stones, and the Beatles. And some of my favorite songs like “Crimson and Clover” by Tommy James and The Shondells. Love it! And “Dizzy” by Tommy Roe and of course many, many more. I watched my sister dance around to this music with the black light going and the posters Wow! I remember the posters glowing it was really mezmerizing as a child. My future self today had no idea how much I’d miss some of the music, and fun from that decade. So here is a quick look into some of the music, and fun some of us middle aged folks will remember.

I Remember 1969
There I sat as a child glued to my tv set watching for the first time with my parents. The first man to walk on the moon. What a awesome memory, and I felt lucky to have gotton to see that. Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon. Then well Woodstock, I was to young but I certainly heard all about it.
My Life Today
Now here I am today with so much technology at my fingertips its unreal. My kids make fun of me because I’m not very techy, and I feel so out of touch sometimes. But thats okay, they can laugh my generation knew how to rock! My generation created rock and roll!
A 4-20 Birthday Unbeknownst To Me Weed And Hitler
My children giggle because my Birthday is 4-20 supposidly weed day, so I had to look into this I’d never heard about it till a couple of years ago. Apparently in 1971 Some teens learned about some weed crop that was abandoned and they decided 4:20pm as their meeting time to go in search for it. As the story goes they never found the weed. Thus, 4-20 evolved into code for pot-smoking. So my Birthday now means pot-smoking. And lets not forget Hitler, he was born on 4-20 another delightful thing that I can think about on my birthday this year. So All you people born on 4-20 I give you a shout out! 4-20-62 was a great day to be born! If 4-20 is your birthday feel free to comment !
